This mixed split has been Stone's best seller for years now, you don't change a winning team. Over the years the topo has become lighter without ever losing its robustness. A splitboard needs responsiveness to relaunch or hold curves. To do this, you need to have a high-performance construction. We don't like soft splitboards. The softer it is, the more likely you are to break it. In transition from valleys, you could break a ski in a bottleneck. To remedy this we have made some changes, taking into account feedback from the Team & customers.
This time Stone did not opt for a wooden topsheet. Wood is very aesthetic but in splitboard sometimes if you use your knives badly it is possible to snag. Deco level it is typed as its name suggests. Simply effective. Always back on the back foot you can float in the snow wonderfully. If there is no snow you can carve very well by pressing your legs, this split loves the relaunch turn. Its shape will not prevent you from riding switch. This split has a different shape from the Forest, Legalize or White but if you want a slightly more powdery split without really deviating from something already known, then this will be the right choice.
